Do you only work with companies in Florida?

No. Initial relationship development is focused on Florida, particularly South Florida, because of existing business relationships there. Qualified companies anywhere in the United States are welcome.

Do you only source from Yiwu?

Accepted Answer

No. Yiwu is useful for certain product categories, but the right manufacturing region depends on the product. We work with suppliers in whichever Chinese cluster is the better fit for what you are buying.

Can you source any product?

Accepted Answer

We consider a broad range of commercially realistic manufactured goods where China has a genuine sourcing advantage. Highly regulated categories are not a core specialty, and if a product is outside what we can responsibly support, we say so before you pay anything.

Do I need an existing supplier?

Accepted Answer

No. If you already have a supplier or a quote, that supplier can be included in the benchmark. If you do not, we benchmark suppliers for your defined product from the beginning. What we do need is a defined product and a real quantity.

Do I have to place an order through China Buying Desk?

Accepted Answer

No. The Supplier Benchmark Sprint is standalone. You are free to take the findings and manage the supplier relationship yourself. We take no supplier commission, so there is no pressure to steer you toward any particular factory.

What does the $750 benchmark include?

Accepted Answer

One defined product and up to three suppliers, contacted directly in Mandarin. It compares pricing, MOQ, lead time, sample cost, packaging, customization, tooling or setup fees and payment terms, plus a basic manufacturer versus trading-company review, basic credibility checks, specialization assessment, obvious commercial and documentation risk flags, a clean comparison, a direct recommendation and a results review call.

Can you visit a factory?

Yes, when a visit is commercially justified by the size or risk of the order. Visits are not part of the $750 sprint; they are separately scoped and quoted with a defined objective.

Question 8

Can you coordinate samples?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sample coordination — requests, specification handover, revision rounds, feedback translation and comparison across suppliers — is a separate service. Sample costs and sample freight are paid by the client.

Do you guarantee supplier quality?

Accepted Answer

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. We surface risk, verify what can reasonably be verified from China, and give you an honest recommendation. We do not guarantee supplier performance, product quality, regulatory approval, customs clearance, delivery dates or sales performance.

Do you handle customs or freight?

Accepted Answer

Not as part of the benchmark. Customs brokerage and freight booking are outside our scope. We can coordinate with the suppliers, inspection providers and forwarders involved in your shipment when that work is separately scoped.

What happens after the benchmark?

Accepted Answer

You get a recommendation framed as KEEP, RENEGOTIATE, SAMPLE, SWITCH or DO NOT PROCEED, and a review call to discuss it. From there you can act on it yourself, or engage us for negotiation, sampling, a supplier visit or production coordination.

Can you manage repeat purchasing?

Yes. For companies that buy from China regularly, China Purchasing Support provides ongoing China-side coordination — repeat orders, supplier follow-up, requotes and new product requests into existing suppliers — scoped to your buying rhythm.
